The Kailani Condominium is truly a boutique building with only 51 units. In an excellent central Waikiki location, at the quiet end of Lewers Street, it is just a few blocks to the ocean and nighttime activities. Drinks and a hula show at the Halekulani Hotel, for instance. Wonderfully spacious and bright, this two- bedroom condominium has an interesting view of the Ala Wai Canal. The design allows two separate living areas, if desired. The entry hall leads to a studio with a full bath and lanai, and there is a separate one-bedroom living space with another full bath and two large lanais. Possible rental income of $3,500-4,000 or keep one for your own use and rent the other to cover expenses. Covered and secured parking on the top level is ideal. With 930 total interior square footage, this is already a generous space. However, the board has approved plans to enclose the lanais for a potential of over 1,257 sq ft. The building just completed upgrading their elevators, and the overall building management is excellent. VA approved building and pet friendly, too. It is low key comfortable living—a truly excellent choice for Hawaii.
