Property Description

When you enter this warm, spacious, and private cabin, you’ll immediately exhale and relax. Stewarded by only two families since its construction in 1931, this home offers modern updates while retaining its original charm. The first floor features an open- concept layout with endless possibilities for customization. At the heart of the space is a stunning, double-height stone fireplace. Overlooking this central feature is a U-shaped mezzanine that houses all five bedrooms, along with a walk-in closet. The walls are pine, the floors and ceilings are fir, and the railings are crafted from white birch, adding to the home’s rustic elegance. Recent updates include a new roof, an updated kitchen, a custom 12-foot diameter fire pit, a deck in the yard for star gazing, a Generac back- up generator, and a fenced garden. The property also features an infrared sauna. Additional maintenance has been completed, with cleaned ducts and an emptied septic tank for your peace of mind. The home sits above the street on beautifully landscaped land, offering stunning, unobstructed views of the mountains from the front deck. The backyard overlooks a serene pond on the neighboring property. With the house situated strategically, the 1.6 acres feels expansive. The grounds have been carefully maintained, with dead trees removed and much of the brush cleared. An incredible mix of trees and flowers blooms every year, creating a beautiful, natural environment. Only one neighboring house is visible from the property, and the road is exceptionally quiet.
