Property Description

Shipley River Ranch is located in the rolling Leon River valley of Coryell County. This legacy ranch is situated 30 minutes from Hamilton, 2 hours south of DFW, and 1.5 hours north of Austin. Held by the same family for nearly 100 years, the historic property features an old rock stagecoach stop and excellent arrowhead hunting. The current owners have manicured the land, created ATV trails, established grazing pastures, and planted 120 acres of cropland. Water for wildlife and livestock is provided by stock tanks, seasonal creeks, and the deep, flowing Leon River. The coastal pastures are dotted with large Pecan and Live Oak trees, and a paved drive off Highway 36 leads to a 7,022 SF home designed for both living and entertainment.
