Property Description

SOLD! One of the finest estate properties in Bucks County, Finale Farm is a noble retreat deeply rooted in the heritage of the area with an original structure dating to 1704. On 33 acres in a pristine Solebury Township setting, the manor house is set far off the road with magnificent repose. The house has been carefully expanded several times and now measures 6323 square feet. Ancillary structures include an updated guest house, classic stone bank barn, pool, pond and access to a 20-acre private lake that's fun for canoeing, kayaking or even paddleboating. Level acreage makes this ideal for the gentleman farmer or buyer seeking verdant, long-distance views. The main residence's interior showcases substantial historical details such as an early walk-in fireplace and stone sink, exposed stone and beamed ceilings with modern amenities, including a clean-lined, European kitchen and baths, all by Boffi, and updated mechanicals and systems. Interiors are spacious and open with French oak hardwood floors throughout all levels and the guest house. Private quarters upstairs are comfortably sized with five bedrooms and four baths. There is a wealth of flexible space and guest or au pair accommodations with the main house. On the first floor, a gallery-style hall overlooks a large patio, an in-ground pool and gardens and leads to a fitness area and a big family room with a screened porch. Two guest bedrooms and a full bath are located on the upper level of this section of the house. For the buyer seeking a country property reminiscent of a spot in the English countryside, Finale Farm is a lovely substitute in an unparalleled New Hope location. Throw your Wellies and field coat in the car and schedule a tour to experience its serenity for yourself.
